Our first collection of objects was inspired by the Karst highland, an area on the border between Italy and Slovenia, known for its distinctive limestone — a humble marble with soft gray hues, etched with many variations of fossil marks.
In our region, this material can be found everywhere: in objects, in architectural details, and in the landscape itself.
Since Roman times, skilled craftsmen have quarried the stone, shaping the land as they worked. The quarries have been active for over two thousand years, providing material for many of history’s iconic landmarks.
Today, this stone continues to inspire, carrying on its timeless legacy.
